NEW
for the
2005-Racing Season at both Wisconsin Motorsports & Entertainment
facilities.
ALL
minors (14 to 18 year of age)
who enter the pit area, MUST have an official K & K Minor Release
form signed by
BOTH
parents and
NOTORIZED
properly. This is a mandated form that is being required by our
insurance underwriter for the 2005-Racing Season. There will be
NO
exceptions given to any minors who are either participating in the
night’s racing events or if the minor is accompanied by an adult.
Purpose of notarization is to ensure ALL minors entering the restricted
pit area are the legal age that is being required by the Insurance
underwriter, K & K Insurance and NARI Insurance Agency.
Parents can pick
up the necessary paperwork at the inspections/practices and the required
paperwork MUST be completed prior to any on track participation.
A $3.00 handling and
processing fee will be required by ALL minors who purchase a minor
release card that is good for BOTH Wisconsin Motorsports &
Entertainment facilities for 2005. Each minor will receive a
signed and laminated card that must be worn in plain sight each time
they are at a facility. This is a requirement in order to
enter the pit area.
This practice was
implemented last year, and will be followed through again for the
2005-Racing season. Any and all concerns can be directed to the
corporate office, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. You
can also email us at
theraceway@wismotorsports.net
and request a form sent. (Insurance company requirements keep us
from posting the form on our website.)
Don’t wait until
the last minute or the first race to get your form. If you arrive
without a form, you must have proof of age with you. The privilege being
extended to minors is simply that. We ask everyone who is participating
not to abuse this privilege, be prepared for race day.
