IRA Event at Beaver Dam Raceway on July 28 Cancelled IRA returns to Beaver Dam for Scott Semmelmann Memorial on September 22 BEAVER DAM, Wisc. — July 6, 2018 — The Bumper to Bumper Interstate Racing Association (IRA) event at Beaver Dam Raceway in Beaver Dam, Wisc., on Saturday, July 28 has been cancelled due to scheduled construction at the track.The IRA will return to Beaver Dam Raceway on Saturday, September 22 for the 4th Annual ScottSemmelmann Memorial. Last year, California native and current Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions point leader Carson Macedo won the Scott Semmelmann Memorial over eight-time IRA champion Bill Balog and 2016 series titlist winner Jeremy Schultz, who hails from Beaver Dam.Beaver Dam Raceway hosted the 2018 season opener for the IRA back in April, with Steve Meyer picking up the win over Justin Henderson and Jake Blackhurst. The IRA returned to the third-mile on May 26, with Scotty Thiel scoring the victory over Balog and Mike Reinke.Thiel, who is chasing his first IRA title, leads Schultz in the current series standings by 83 points,with Blackhurst, just one-point out of second.
