Midwest Legends Dirt Series

MLDS Sets Schedule for 2025

West Allis, WI (December 18th, 2024) - The Midwest Legends Dirt Series is proud to present the 2025 schedule. What is a cumulation of great racing in 2024 and hard work during the offseason, the schedule for the following season is built on the regional mentality that the series is attempting to garnish.

The series will see a 35-race season, with 13 tracks represented in 2 different states. The series will see a return to many familiar tracks with a handful of new tracks adding to the excitement of the series. A distance of 3,700 miles sits between all the tracks, with some major events on the cards, and with that, comes major paydays.

The Series will start off on April 19th, at Iowa’s Maquoketa Speedway for their points racing opener. A return to a track that saw rain last season will mark the second race in April, as the Legends return to the Plymouth Dirt Track at the Sheboygan County Fairgrounds on April 26th.

May will see a plethora of new tracks with Luxy Raceway being the first on May 2nd. The track hosted a MLDS exhibition race at the end of 2024 and will see the series return for the first of many trips for points racing. The series will then travel west to the Thunder Hill Speedway in Menomonie, WI for an action packed, 2-day event on May 16th and 17th. A weekend of excitement awaits the series on May 24th and 25th with the series only trip to Cedar Lake Speedway on Saturday and the first trip to 141 Speedway with the IRA Sprint Cars on Sunday rounds out the month.

A return to a familiar place starts June off, with a trip to Beaver Dam Raceway with the World of Outlaws on the 7th highlights a jammed packed June. Luxy will see a second race that Sunday on the 8th. Gravity Park Speedway makes its first of 3 appearances on the schedule on June 20th, with the series making the drive to Sun Prairie’s Angell Park Speedway on the 22nd. Lafayette County Speedway starts a three-race stretch on the 27th, with a trip to Maquoketa on the 28th, and a blast back over to Angell Park on the 29th.

July starts off with an honor to Veterans at Luxy on the 3rd. A break for the series after will see the aries pick back up for a loaded week beginning at Angell Park Speedway on the 13th, 141 on the 15th for the King of the Creek event, and the second trip to Gravity Park on the 18th. The series makes another appearance at the Jackson County Fair night at Maquoketa on the 23rd. The marquee event of the season will take place on the 25th and 26th, at Beaver Dam Raceway. An event yet to be named will see some of the best from around the country flock to the track for what is expected to be the biggest payday in Legends history in the US. This event will be a non-points race for the series but will be a national points event.

August starts off bright and early on the 1st with a trip to Lafayette and a race that is yet to be announced on the 2nd. Both captain events will see Legends on the cards, with Luxy Raceway’s Prelude event on Sunday the 10th and 141’s Captain of the Creek event on the 12th. The series will make its final trip to Gravity Park on the 15th before making the trip to the tip of the state to Sturgeon Bay’s The Hill Speedway, for the series first visit to the track in its history on the 16th.

September starts out with the series' only trip to Seymour Speedway in Outagamie County, Wisconsin on the 6th. The series final trip to 141 will see the series be accompanied by the IRA Sprint Cars once again as well as a big night for Sport Mods on the 13th. Beaver Dam will end the points battle, with the final double header at the track taking place on the 19th and 20th of the month. A Doubleheader to end the series will take place at the end of the month, with info soon to come.

The series will wrap up on Saturday, October 4th, at Luxy Raceway for a return to the Spooky Showdown. A non-points event will see the series make their second appearance at the event in two years. The finale night of the season will see the series end the season where it started at Maquoketa Speedway on October 18th.

The schedule is subject to change. More information on individual events will be released in due time. The Midwest Legends Dirt Series is excited to make it to Maquoketa soon to start off the season!!
